Les Rencontres d'Arles: The 2025 Photobook Awards - Les prix du livre 2025

Mr. & Mrs. has been shortlisted for THE 2025 BOOK AWARDS in the Photo-Text Book category at Les Rencontres d’Arles, alongside 20 other remarkable titles. This is one of the most prestigious prizes in the world for photobooks that explore the interplay between image and text — a space where language and photography meet to reveal what words alone cannot say.

The Rencontres d’Arles Photobook Awards were created to support the publishing of photography books, a rapidly growing field, and to help these works reach a broader audience. There are three award categories: Authors’ Books, Historical Books, and PhotoText Books. A pre-jury and a jury of photography experts select the shortlisted titles and the winners. All shortlisted books become part of the collection of the École Nationale Supérieure de la Photographie in Arles and are exhibited throughout the entire festival (July 7- October 5).

In 2025, the festival received over 830 submissions from around the world. 123 books were shortlisted, and I’m thrilled that Mr. & Mrs. will be part of this collective presence.
